Meet our herdsires here at Stoney Ridge Farm.

White Lightning -- Our pure white 100% Bolivian herdsire settled females before his 2nd Birthday.  His fiber is extremely dense and crimpy.  Check out his first cria, an appaloosa named Oliver, on our Alpacas for Sale Page.  Stud Fee $1,500.

Tambo -- Our multi-ribbon winning rose-grey herdsire is ready to breed to your best females.  He settles most females in one breeding.  For our herd he is the sire of 10 fine females and Scout, a fine grey male who is the spittin' image of his sire.  (Thus, on our farm, an 90% female cria production from Tambo.)  Click on the button below to view Tambo's Girls!  Stud Fee $2,000.

Scout -- Tambo's son by Wicka, one of our finer females.

Sequoia -- Sequoia is our most stately herdsire.  His first three crias will arrive this fall.  We are anticipating them to be strong and large-boned just as Sequoia is.  Sequoia is from our wonderful grey-producing dam, Clementine, and our prolific grey herdsire, Tambo.  Sequoia is a strong, vigorous breeder just as is his sire.  Stud Fee $1,500.

The Night Hawk, aka Rudy -- Our newest herdsire who won a blue ribbon at the SS '08 in the 2 year and older grey class.  His sire is Peruvian Ndume from Seldom Scene Farm.  His mom is Belle, the first daughter of Annie and White Lightning.   He's an easy-going fellow with wonderful soft, crimpy fiber.  If you want to add Peruvian genetics and great color genetics to your herd, this is the sire for you.  Rudy is ready to breed now with an introductory stud fee of $1,200.

Rudy's awards from two shows only are as follows:  1st Southern Select 2008 (halter), 2nd Southern Select 2008 (performance with only a week's practice), 2nd Southern Select 2007 (halter).
